ABOUT US

We, Anne-Marie van Boxel and Marinka Potters, are the proud owners of Villa a Vida in Porto Carvalhoso and the Apartamento Aperitivo apartment in Tavira. We live and work in Breda, but love spending our holidays in the Eastern Algarve with our two boys, Joep and Tijs. We love the good life and the hustle and bustle of the city, but also appreciate peace and quiet, nature, and hiking with our friendly Beer.

Live life!

Live life! This motto encourages us to pursue our dreams. We fell in love with Portugal, with its purity, nature, and people. Our dream was to live here in a quiet valley with fruit trees and a small vineyard. An idyllic house with a veranda, wine, and olives, close to lively fishing villages and the beach.


This dream has become a reality. We now live in Villa a Vida in Porto Carvalhoso, 15-20 minutes from Tavira and its beautiful beaches, and 30 minutes from Faro. In Tavira, we also rent out Apartamento Aperitivo, our one-bedroom apartment.
